I’ve used a lot of rollers over the years from rubber linotype rollers to a few different steel ones for leather.

What stands out immediately with this one isn’t the weight (its hefty but ive had the same weight with other rollers before), it’s the smoothness. For all the previous rollers ive used, it’s always been the pivot and the handle, The pins that hold the roller always has play between them and some even shed metal powder with use.

This one is COMPLETELY different and feels like it’s running on actual bearings (there might actually be bearings, i cant tell), and they’re almost completely silent. Just smooth movement without any resistance. Zero play anywhere and it feels so solid in a way that’s hard to explain.

One small thing I noticed before it arrived: the photos made the handle look like a dark red wood, while the description said carbon fiber. I was actually hoping for an all-black look, so I wasn’t sure what I’d get. Turned out to be black carbon fiber, which was a nice surprise.

I don’t usually react like this to tools, but this is easily the best roller I’ve used. I cant imagine a better version of a roller.

Super sharp right out of the box. Didn't know the difference from cheap tool until I tried these. I thought I had super sharpened my old tools until I used these.

I have sets of three sizes and like them all. They feel like an extension of the hand, making it easier to punch a cleaner stitch line compared to some other irons that I have used. Now, if only Junlin would carry a matching set of awls in both diamond and flat configurations.

I've purchased an Artemis 3.38mm pricking irons and saddly the two prongs one broke during usage. I've contacted them and I've got a prompt response and they replaced the broken one free of charge. I highly recommended them and definitely will buy again

Beautiful Pricking Irons

The narrow width of the tooth allows for precise stitch hole placement and accurate result. However, the narrow teeth can result in clean but boring stitches when not accompanied with an awl. Definitely one of the best pricking irons out there.
