Maxita is a well established manufacturer in China. You may have come across their brand a few times with their famously popular stitching ponies. JunLinLeather is proud to be Maxita's international distributor for a subset of their tools and machineries.

EC-27 or EC-17?

Both machines share the same stamping platform size, the same press quality, and take the same stamp holders. Each comes with the laser attachment and the stamping platform guide. The difference is the height of the stamping platform.

The EC-27 has an elevated stamping platform, which gives you room to work on an item that is already assembled — stamping the side of a finished tote bag, for instance, rather than a flat panel before construction. It is the heavier of the two machines, at 11 kg against the EC-17's 7.5 kg.

The EC-17 is what we generally recommend. If you stamp flat panels before assembly, it does the same job for less.

The two use different electronic controller boxes — Omron on the EC-27, Autonics on the EC-17. They are identical in function and in performance.

Different Stamp Holders

By default one will be provided with the purchase of the machine. Please visit this product listing if you wish to purchase extra stamp holders.

Type 1

This is designed to be a multipurpose stamp holder. It is able to accommodate both single and double line letter stamps (needs practice) and logo stamps smaller than 2.5 × 7.5 cm (1" × 3").

Type 2

Type 2 is sized for 7mm letter stamps — the 7mm is the outer height of the letter itself, not a measurement of the holder. It holds a single line of letters at a time.

The clamps protrude, so it will also grip rectangular logo stamps of irregular dimensions. Height is effectively unbounded; width is the real limit, at 7 cm (2.75 in). It is the faster and more convenient of the holders to work with.

Type 3

The application of the Type 3 stamp holder is limited — it is useful if you need to stamp double line logo stamps frequently.

Whichever holder you use, the machine is built for moderation rather than brute force. Around 2 square inches (13 cm²) of stamping area presses comfortably and gives a clean, even impression. Past that the pressure spreads thin and you end up fighting the machine for an even result. If your logo is larger, send us the dimensions before you order and we will tell you honestly whether it will work.

Laser guide

The laser guide lets you inspect where the stamp will land on the product before making the final call, which keeps the workflow efficient. Its position and direction can be easily calibrated to your needs.

Stamping platform guide

The stamping platform guide is included in the package. It is a must have accessory for this machine, making repetitive hot foil stamping workflows a breeze.

Sliding Platform

The platform on which the product is placed can slide forward and backwards. This will provide more room and visibility when aligning the product on the platform.

Sufficient clearance between the stamping platform and the heated brass stamps is also important for workplace safety and ease of operation.

Warranty

As an official distributor for Maxita, we are able to service and troubleshoot most if not all issues remotely. We don't have a set date period for which the warranty will be valid — it runs for as long as we are able to help. Some machine and assembly skills will be necessary for replacing faulty or damaged parts if we resort to that.

Each machine is built for one voltage, so please pick the one that matches your country's wall outlets:

110V — USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Taiwan, and other countries with 100–127V outlets.

220V — UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, and other countries with 220–240V outlets.
