Tapping Hammer with Yakisugi Handles
Tapping Hammer with Yakisugi Handles
Yakisugi - The ancient Japanese technique of charring and sealing the surface of the wood enhances the hammer's durability and resistance to the element, but most of all, it looks sexy.
This hammer is economical, but they are guaranteed to exceed your expectations. The hammering surface is convex and mirror polished (where I got the blisters on my palm from).
The handle is hand carved from Ash, and also features a stainless steel hammer head with an antique finish.

Really disappointed in the quality of these hammers. They look so much better in the photograph. If I had seen these hammers first hand I would never have purchased them. I mean the stain is not even consistent in that there is no stain under the hammer head. It’s just raw wood. Sorry guys. I’m very disappointed and can’t imagine anyone not being so.
It’s polished to the extreme for tapping threads, honestly the smoothest I’ve seen and then the handle was just one of those things I had to try. I know you can have the same quality the other handles but the charred finish is also amazing
Beautifully designed..
Without a doubt the most beautiful hammer ever, I love it..!
